Today we were reminded that it is far better to face and meet your fear head on.

Anderson Squatting allows for us to accomplish this objective quite safely.

More than a few times today, as we escalated the weight on the bar, we reached points of persuasion.  Some of the people were gung ho to tear into it, while others had their doubts.

My response to both was...GREAT!!!  Let's do this.

The cool thing about the "bottom up" lifts is that, if you can't do them, you can't do them.  Your pushing off a spotting rail or a safety strap, so if you can't get the weight, it will simply sit there and you'll have done a vicious isometric to finish your lift.

As we got to the three and four plates the herd got thinned and the only things that got injured were egos.  This fit well with the plan today.

Some people FEAR the fire.  Some simply BECOME the fire!
