This entry is a quick update on my own training and plans.  I'll be posting ongoing reports of my training with Shelby Starnes over the spring and summer, but don't worry: the regular coaching content will stick around, too!

If you've been following me on Instagram, you know I've started working with Shelby Starnes, a former Elitefts contributer with a ridiculously start-studded resume as a bodybuilding coach. Shelby typically only works with women, so I'm extraordinarily grateful that he was willing to help me out. In fact, this is actually the second time I've worked with Shelby; the first was over a decade ago!

We are tentatively prepping for the USAs, which is over five months away, but I need that time to put on a little more stage weight before we start pushing the diet. So, my current meal plan is pretty darn fun:

Ben 3.0 Back Training

  1. Wide-Grip T-Bar Row: 2 sets (second double-drop set)
  2. Supinated Unilateral Pulldown: 3 sets (third rest-pause set)
  3. Block Pull with Chains
  4. Superset machine pullover and chest-supported row: 3 sets

Also got a little pre-pumping in on biceps for arm day tomorrow.
