Sunday was a box squat day at Apollon.

The movement was a cambered bar box squat wit 3 sets of chain.

I hate that goddamn bar, especially with chains because it tends to pull me forward when I try to accelerate off the box. Obviously this is one of the reasons the bar works, so I still subject myself to it when it comes up in the rotation.

I worked up to a single with 505. It was tough. I may have had a small jump in me but since I'm not training at full intensity yet, I decided to leave it be. One big upside of today is that the weight loss has allowed my to fit into my old viking briefs with are no longer made, but were always my favorite. Looking forward to putting these on under my suit this Sunday, assuming my suit still fits, lol.

Finished with 4 sets of reverse hypers and abs. I didn't do a ton of assistance because my son had a swim lesson and I didn't want to be late. I'll have plenty of time to miss out on father-son time when I go into full meet-prep, lol.
