Yesterday was the second week of my circa-max squat cycle.

For those following along, Last week was speed work with 330 and doubled average bands. Doubling the band drastically increases the tension, especially at the bottom,making 330 way tougher than usual.

This time, my goal was to work up to a heavy single. After 1 plate and the bands, I knew it wouldn't take long to reach it.

I took plate jumps to 4 plates, then took two quarter jumps to 510, which was all I had in me. The lift was very tough, but I made it, lol. My body was already shot from all the band tension the previous week, and I'm sure I'll be even more destroyed. I'm supposed to bench today, but I can already tell it's gonna be a light day, and I'll put my shirt work off until next week.

I forgot how bad of an Idea it is to do any sort of shirt work after the crazy band stuff.
