Congratulations to the strength and fitness industries! 2018 was a game-changing year!

There are now so many EPIC certifications that not one of them means a damn thing to any employer, customer, or client.
Why is this good?

Because it means that real-world application and results will be paramount again. Prospects will actually begin looking for referrals and retention rates for the best in the industry will skyrocket .
I’m not saying that certifications are bad. They are essentially just overpriced seminars. But they won’t mean dick on a resume since the will just get lost in the bottom-item list along with the 15-20 other collected certs and acronyms.

Oh, you will also have a wall full of worthless participation papers decorated with really cool signatures to hang in your mom's basement.

All joking aside, the dilution of “being certified” will become one of the best things for the industry in a very long time.

I already know I’m going to get an influx of DMs on how xxxx certification is different or better. I already said people can learn from most of them but if you think yours is so great, will it make any difference in a legal dispute between injured client and “certified” coach?

Finally, please don’t bitch about participation awards when you have a cert on your wall that required zero testing or practical application to pass.

For those who read this and have their own certs or work for one- Two things to ask yourself.

1. At one time did you think all those certs were just BS and getting out of hand? Be honest.

2. Did you start yours because you felt all the others were BS and you would do better? That your attendees would learn more and become better practitioners from yours?

Did you? - or - Did you become what you used to reject?
Some are making it better!!!

and...

ONLY 3 SPOTS LEFT!
