The bench or box that you are sitting to should put your thigh parallel with the floor when you sit down. Make sure the ground foot is far enough in front of you so you have to reach your hips back to get on the bench. When you are on the bench, it’s important to have a perpendicular shin angle. Also, don’t be afraid to let your torso lean forward. If you have an athlete who is having trouble doing this without dropping on the box make them lean forward until they are on the box. ‘Reach and lean’
