Use a Cambered Grip Bar and a Supinated grip to take stress off the shoulder joint. Using a semi-supinated or neutral grip will almost always be less stressful to the shoulder joint in comparison to overhand grip. Hinge at the hips and hold a good RDL position and row the bar to the stomach. While rowing try to pull your shoulder down and back to the opposite hip. The camber allows for extra range of motion and greater contraction of the lats.
