Walk up to the customer service and when they say “Hello, how may I help you?” say “Yes, I’ll have a Quarter Pounder with cheese, one strawberry shake, a large order of french fries and a diet coke.” And when they start to talk, say “Oh, to go”. Then WAIT an awkward amount of time in silence.
I started off with the greatest intention of squatting with my crew. However, my torn quad had other ideas. I had to switch out my session to look more like this:
Single Leg High Box Squat: 10x8@ BW
Good Mornings: SSB Yoke Bar
45x10
65x10
95x10
115x10
135x10
GHR: 100 reps. This was REAL hard with the bruising that is going on and the downward pressure of the GHR pad. Grrrrrr,
Gabe Rangel brought in his "Theragun" Which is a little "jackhammer" recovery/therapy tool. Although it would seem to be a contraindication for its use on a bruising muscle, it felt totally awesome when I was finished. I really had to consider it "not a good idea" to go ahead and squat.
If it wasn't for the price tag on that Theragun, I would get one!
