Training was as per usual - AWESOME! I feel f'n great! I was feeling so good that I wanted to hop on the treadmill and do a mile run. Yeah, the treadmill wasn't having it. I killed the treadmill. When I went to hit start I heard a nice electrical buzz then blew a circuit in the house. Even scarier was that I smelled smoke.
I took the cover off the motor and saw a little remnant of smoke, but luckily did not see any fire. I pulled the plug and gave it a farewell solute. I am really glad it lived through the 5k training and run, but that's probably what killed it. I guess I am going to have to look for a heavy duty treadmill for the house. I'd still rather pay a couple of grand instead of having to go to an actual gym. My tolerance for humans usually runs out just about when the work day finishes. I'm sure the rest of the humans feel the same about me.

I work out of Play It Again Sprts now in FL, but New England is our biggest area. If you can find the one closest to you, you can get a 14-16 Commercial Treadmill in really good condition normally between 800-1200. It would save a few grand on a new one. We normally pull them out of some bigger houses that thry have been used as hangers.
