I had to renew my California Driver's License today before it expires next month.
Anyone that has ever had to deal with the Department of Motor Vehicle KNOWS the nightmare that CAN be...(doesn't matter what state you are in either)
Two things that made the entire experience absolutely pleasurable, were #1 Having an Appointment (even though I was early and they had no record of it at the time I showed my grill at the window) and #2 Looking like I might be a celebrity.
Seems people think I appear to be Bruce Willis and today the "murmur" behind the desks inside the DMV was that I was him.
Now I am conceited for sure...but, not SO much that I see it and believe it....UNLESS it gets me to the front of lines and DMV staff being actually really NICE and smiling!!!
I had a LOT of fun, until they looked at my name and it wasn't "Bruce Willis"
I did give everyone a "Merry Christmas" holler and a "Yippee Ki Yea" (I didn't add the MFer however)
All time PR for me. From entrance to exit...12 minutes! BOOM! Drop the mic!!!
