The other night on the turf, I was doing sprints and and speed drills.  Yes, I still believe I have a future at Linebacker in the NFL...

I was turning my last 40 yards when I felt a twinge in my groin and it wasn't because my wife was passing by...

I backed off and proceeded to the cool down phase which were a couple 100's at 60%, nice and easy.

Well....those sucked too, so I aborted the rest of the drills.

Today's training was suppose to be Squats sans the box to a three rep max PLUS 20 pounds over last week.  This would have put me in quite the precarious spot with a deceleration muscle NOT participating as it should, so I SWITCHED to this instead off a Parallel Box:

 

Dynamic Squat: 12x2@50%

Dynamic Dead Lift: 12x1@50%

GHR: 2x18

Suspended Knees to Elbows: 2x18
