Saturday is set aside for Hunter and I to train together.  Because he's 10 years old, the set up is a bit different.  We also need to consider the rest of his day which consists among other things a hockey game this evening.

There is a lot of baloney about kids and resting before a game.  But if you have one, have you ever seen a kid kick his feet up and REST all day?  Yea, me neither.  Go to a tournament and watch those fellas (or gals) play everything from knee hockey to full on contact football and STILL play THREE games in a day.

Oh to be young and able to recover like that.

Here's what he and I did:

4 different Mag Bar PULLDOWNS: 2x12 each

C/S Row: 4x6

Face Pulls: 4x25

He did some Bench Pressing: 10x5

and a five sets of 5 reps incline DB Press

 

As for the rest of my Saturday session people, today was a good day for a 1000 rep arm routine.

BB Curl

Cable Tri Ext Push down w/ rope

DB Curl

Dips

Hammer Curl

Skull Smasher

Seated knee to chin BB Curl

Chest Supported Tri Kick Back

Concentration Curl

Over head Cable Tri Ext

5 sets of 20 reps.
