I quip that I get more stuff done by mistake every morning than most plan for in an entire week.

Running in the dark with limited sight seems to make the distance go by faster!  You don't see the end, but you don't see anything either.

Running into the void?

Part of me really thinks so (just so I can feel better about myself) and the other part thinks that is far better to be insane and lucky than smart and skilled.

Imagine this...THREE days in a row!  5K  Now that's not that impressive.  April and I were discussing how we would run between 3 miles and 10 on any given morning before heading to the gym for an comparatively early training session.  But this was over ten years ago.

WHAT?  Where did that time go???

However, how I feel post run far exceeds any ill feelings prior to the run.  I can get back to being use to this.

PLUS and this is huge!!!  I get a DAILY early morning (for me on the west coast) "Howdy Do" from one of the most inspiring Strength and Conditioning gals in the country today.

Yup...Mrs. Mason from Ohio.  Miss Trapsheila herself...the one and only Nicole Mason.

She's an early riser too and is now one of the first people I get to say "HEY" to.

Her work ethic is spot on and downright relentless.  Furthermore, her lift totals are significant, and her traps comparatively rival my own, and everyone knows I look like the top of a keg o' beer.

Regardless...when you have that kind of support system and folks without their knowledge holding you responsible...you get up, suit up, and light it up!

Today's Training:

Run: 5K  (no excuses)

AirDyne Bike:  Yup, scored me a unused used one for get this...NOTHING $$$  Just had to pick it up.

5 minutes Daily this week in addition to everything we do.
