After a week of being too sick to train, followed by a week of lifting like shit, last week was pretty good.

Sunday was a squat day at Apollon. I decided to to a box squat with straight weight, to continue to adapt to my new Metal Canvas. It went ok. Not great, but certainly felt better than the previous week.

Worked up to 330 raw, before putting on my brief. Added the canvas with 560, and continue on up to 700. It was shaken as hell off the box because the support from the suit pushed my knees forward, but it moved really fast once I got back into my groove.

Since I have less than 12 weeks till the Arnold, I'll be doing a lot more suit work so I can both learn the groove, and get more comfortable with heavy weights.

Kept my brief on after the squats and did speed pulls with 225 plus a doubled mini-band. Did 8 singles here.

Finished with reverse hypers, back extensions and abs.

Monday was a bench day, and since I shirted last week, I stayed raw this time. The lift was a bench with 3 chains using the Mastodon squat bar. We bench with this from time to time because it's much thicker than the bench bar, but not as thick as a fat bar. Its good because it's a little harder to get a good grip on, yet very comfortable in the hands because it displaces pressure better.

I worked up to a single with 280, then put on my catapult and worked up to 360.

Finished with some chest supported t-bar rows, tricep pushdown machine and some biceps work because they've been bothering me lately.

All in all I felt OK on Sunday, but really good on Monday. Looks like I'm finally kicking this bug!
