No one likes to have a good time as much as I do.  Well...maybe EVERYONE likes to have a good time as much as I do, but I will certainly go out of my way for it.

My gym members come from a various backgrounds and geographic areas too.  But the common thread is the quest for strength and the guy they seek the knowledge from...ME!

When I joke about being in the Strength and Conditioning field for EVER and a Day, I'm only kidding about the DAY.

Most of the experts that people quote, got THEIR information from stuff that I wrote or put into practice before there was light bulbs and Pony Express.

I've built relationships with everyone from Billie Badass who collected tolls on the Tri-Bourough Bridge in NY to Hall of Fame Athletes.  From CEO's and 1% income producers, to struggling college kids and rehab patients.

With that large group, I've NEVER lost someone from injury due to neglect or focus.

Today MY group of BANDITS that I normally train WITH, had brain fog and bed head at 0500.  When I got close enough to hear, the sound of the OCEAN was apparently clear and I even heard a ships fog horn.

I love these guys.  Plain and simple.  When one isn't there, it's like someone DIED.  They are missed for many reasons.

So when I through them ALL out today for lack of focus I felt sort of bad.  I mean, these aren't recruits or sport team athletes, they are PAYING customers.

What I resign myself to is, not only are they paying me to help them get stronger and better conditioned, not only are they paying me for the extra council I will lend, they are paying me to keep them SAFE and from hurting themselves.

I've always found it to be a bit of an OXYMORON to get HURT while in a commercial Strength and Conditioning program, but it does happen occasionally.  EXCEPT on MY WATCH!

After the miscount of reps working the mono lift, after an in depth discussion about what collar should be used, and after calling for the rack TWICE, I determined it was time to stop and let the boys have it.

After I unloaded both barrels my sights were set at giving them a hamstring pump and calling it a day.

I looked up to see them continuing the session that was written on the board and lost my mind.

Since they haven't done ANY of it (according to my standards) from the beginning what makes anyone think they should color out of the lines NOW?

My polite way to say..."Get the EF OUT!" I turned to them and said in a mono tone..."See ya Monday".  Which meant NO session tomorrow which is customary for this group.

The "See ya Monday" is my way of saying...TAKE A BREAK.  Recharge your power pack and clear your head.

Let's see what they actually do...

How MY session turned out:

Squat: Box with a Mastodon Bar- 10x5x70%

Prowler: 6x70 yards x 185 lbs

45 Degree Back Extension: 3x5x25 lbs plate behind the head

GHR: 2x15

4 way neck: 1x25x4.0
