Have you ever been around a group of lifters who talk about their athletic feats of strength?

"I used to squat...." or "I used to bench....", "I used to run a 4.5 forty", "I used to do triathlons" are only a few of the resumes I run across almost daily.

Well let me tell you something Sunshine, No One CARES what you used to do. All anyone cares about is what you do NOW!

All of the if'as, would'of's and should'as and could'as' boil down to if my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle. (regardless of how you view genders).

What did you do today that made you better than yesterday? If "Nothing" is your answer, then a good chance NOTHING is EVER going to change and your best athleticism is a thing in the past.

You may as well leave them on your trophy case in your own personal Hall of Fame.

I figure there is ALWAYS something and somewhere I can improve upon and work diligently hard to do so.
