Squatting is the same as life. ⁣

Each of us needs to have spotters on each side and behind us. On the one side, you will have your true friends. These are your friends who’ve been with you through the good times and bad; they do not judge you for who you are or what you do. These friends appreciate you for who you are, not what you can do for them or what status you hold in society. These friends will always be there for you, whether it’s lunch time or 4 a.m., without question. They are not friends who disappear when you need help but come back around when you have success. ⁣

The spotters to the other side are your family. The family unit is one of the strongest units we as humans have. Your family will, and always should, love you unconditionally. The support you receive from your spouse and children can make the difference between success and failure. Your own parents and siblings will always know you for who you are and care what happens to you. ⁣

The back spotter is your belief - faith. It will always be behind you, regardless of the situation. When you have strong spotters (family, faith, and friends), you can accomplish anything. ⁣

If and when the weight gets too heavy, they will be there to catch it before you have to dump the bar. If the weight is still too heavy and you have to dump the bar, they will be there to help you get back up. ⁣
