I have sat down to write this about a dozen times. Unfortunately it's like I can't keep a thought in my head. As a teacher I'm coming to the end of the school year and there's a thousand things left to do. In addition I'll be moving to a new classroom next year. I'm grateful to have a job and it's going to be a nice room, but it's still more work. On top of it all is getting myself right to make the 198 class and lift to the best of my ability.

It's important that you all remember, the athletes and coaches here are all working people. Some in the training or strength and conditioning community, but many have jobs out of the industry. When we are preparing for an event, we are going through the same rigors as the rest of you. Family, job, house, etc, we are neck high in it as well. That means if we can do it, you can too.

This training cycle has been fantastic. I have posted each month's training and will get my peaking month out next week. With lifting being done, I'll just be cutting. I'll have more time to write, but my tone might have a little misery in it. Next week is nothing but distilled water, broccoli, and white rice. Literally, that's it! Good times. However, like Wendler says "Don't be a martyr." The cut is my choice so I can't complain about it.

Regarding lifting, I'm finally dialing in my form a bit with the new leverages. My back is slowly accepting my arch, but after the meet I think I will be switching to benching on my toes. Driving through my heels just puts too much torque on my t-spine. Time to adapt. Body weight is at 212 which is exactly where my nutrition coach wanted it before the cut. All is well.

I wish I was feeling more creative or interesting, but I'm not. I'm going to finish up here, because I have grown tired of this conversation. Yep, the seven plus years of restricted calories has finally gotten to me. Dizenzo out!
