Today was a raw bench session at the commercial place near me. Since I'm done with shirt work for a while, my body should be able to handle 2 bench days per week again. My Monday session at Apollon will continue to be the typical rotation of max effort exercises, while his second day will be a program I've run multiple times with success. I'll start at 80-85 percent of my raw max (I guesstimate this since I rarely actually work up to a true max raw) and do 6 sets of 2. I'll keep the sets at 6 and add a rep each week until I hit 6x6. Then I will change the movement a bit (close grip, floor press, incline, whatever).

I started with a bar weight of 275. Got through the first 5 sets with no problem, then did 5 on my last set for a little extra work. Everything was nice and easy so I anticipate a smooth first cycle.

After this I did 4 sets of 6 pull-ups (going easy on these because I pulled my lat last time I worked them in).

Did 4 sets of 14 on a cable overhead press machine, triceps pushdowns, biceps curls and called it a day.
