I'm looking for answers to my sciatic nerve issue the other day.  Seems the bugger hasn't been playing fair as I do one thing then another to relieve it.

Then, I went to my training log book that I keep in those little "Mead" spiral notebooks with a bajillion pages, to see what I have done differently or recently changed.

As I go back page by page, I notice nothing too out of the ordinary.  Hmmph!  I go back further, then I trace back into the previous book.  Then another. BOOK!

What I come to conclusion, I hadn't taken ANY time off in YEARS!

I've even gone on VACATION and hit the gym.  Duh!

Understand, I've spoken at seminars about this very issue, "you need to let your body acclimate, you need to let it catch up"  "Doesn't mean you take completely off, but you do come off the throttle every now and again".

Right there!  I hadn't done what I tell others to do and what comes out of it EVERY SINGLE TIME???  Right!  Your plug will get pulled for you.

At this moment, I have been on a four day reload this week so far. (My week starts on Friday as it's the Heavy squat/dead lift day) and have done NOTHING except a technique called "cupping" with the help of a "Cup Master" herself.  My very own D-Bol.

I will remain activitiesless until this coming Friday and then I will turn my "De Load" into a "Re Load".

I'm going to have to heal up a bit, and then, I seriously need to get into SHAPE!

The lesson here?

Either train with a plan or your training will get derailed.
