A few years ago I was having a conversation with THE Jim Wendler.  We were talking about supplements and their use and when to use what.

He said this profound statement that I have adopted into every decision going forward.

He said, "if you have the choice between a sirloin steak as a protein source and a protein shake, which one would you pick?   The  steak because it's more awesome than the shake!"

ALWAYS, When given a choice, pick the one that is more awesome.
