1. Laugh no less than 12 per day

2. Help at least ONE person per day

3. Learn something, ANYTHING new daily

4. Always carry a knife-

Now don't get all tangled up with this, like it's a  Second Amendment rights thing or not,  but everyone should have at least a pocket knife.  I like to cut oranges and eat them in quarters out of the peel.  Plus, sometimes they don't cooperate peeling.  You get orange juice down your sleeve, aaaahhhhrrrrgggg.  Then what, sticky fingers, hands are a mess.  BUT, if you cut the peel and then quarter the orange you have a tasty post training session carb that is refreshing and no mess.

You might have a thread that needs to be trimmed.  If you are anything like me, I pull that bugger and WHAM!  I'll unravel the entire tog.

Keep it sharp and you'll find many uses.

I keep a tiny 2 inch blade in my Gym backpack, but I keep my K-Bar right by my head strapped to the headboard of my bed.  THAT sucker is BIG and is made for one thing!

Although I live in an extremely safe neighborhood, those things that go "bump in the night" will DIE, if they prove to be UNSAFE.

Another alternative could be a Swiss Army Knife or a Leatherman tool, but for my convenience a small single blade is all I need.

I check my bags while flying and I put my little blade in there.  TSA doesn't care.  But as soon as I retrieve the bag, it goes back to where I can access it.

ALWAYS carry a knife.
