Sometimes the first idea, the simplest, is the best solution.

Today's Training:

The fires that have consumed more than 177 square miles here in Northern California is the most devastating Wild Fire in History here.

The air quality is horrendous making outdoor activity almost impossible IF you are concerned about health issues.

The conditioning part of my program is placed now on a "back burner" because of the issue Respiration v. Perspiration.  Although I want people to sweat, it's more important to me to keep everyone healthy!

Suspended Good Mornings: 6 rep HEAVY

Once establishing the weight, do TWO more sets at that number

Seated Box Squat to Box Jump:

From the heights of 12 or 16 inches, sit back lifting the feet off the floor only to roll forward and "punching" the floor to elevate your body onto the same height box.

I am not concerned with the height of the jump nor the depth of the squat as much as I am about how QUICKLY you can get your feet off the ground.

4x8

Walking HEAVY DB Lunge:

With as much weight as you can hold do 4 sets of 8 reps one leg at a time.  In other words...Texas Two step.  Do 8 reps with the left, then do 8 reps with the right=1 set.
