I chuckled as I sat FROZEN in not one but two different Hockey Rinks.
Yes, it's true, I hate the cold, yet the four and half hour Cryotherapy treatments should start to heal my torn quad at a much quicker pace.
I adore watching my son and his hockey team play. Heck, I do the "Dry-land" training to prepare the boys for their games and to get them, "AMP'd" up.
As the Zamboni cuts the ice, and the rest of the parents stay warm on the other side of the rink's glass, I sit at the top row on the Red Line rubbing my quad in the freezer.
It feels ok for the time, but then it becomes time for a little stress.
The Stressor Today:
10x10 yard warm up jogs.
followed by 5x100 (longer jogs)
I have a wonderful Black and Decker car polisher that I bought from Lowe's Hardware and Fitness store for $24.98 three or four years ago when I tore another part of my anatomy. I'd use that cool new Thera-thumper, but like I said it cost a small mortgage and I don't have that handy. So...Vibration Nation is about to begin if I could just locate that sucker!
Life is good; Lifer is gooder.
