I may have gotten beat but valuable lessons were taught.
Two goals I had for my son going into this race.
ONE: I called him out last year and had a terrible year when it came to training, but did this stupid 5k so he would see, when you call somebody out you always show up no matter what! No excuses - step up even if it means getting your ass beat.
TWO: If someone calls you out and you win DO rub some salt in the womb. You can still be a sportsman while stepping on someone’s throat.
