There a cold or illness that is going around just crushing people that I know.

I came home yesterday with only sciatic nerve pain from  posting about how I thought the Nautilus Duo/Poly Hip and Back was the best piece of equipment for that very reason.  Murphy's Law...CJ?  Naaa

But as the day progressed my sciatic nerve started to bark louder.  THEN...I got this headache that feels like the ones you get when you make a bone head move like stopping caffeine intake.

I started laughing in my misery.  Why are you laughing, April asked?

"because, I now know that I still can feel my mistakes in training (or lack of) and that I have enough brain cells to still hurt!"

How glorious!!!!

So here was my train of thought for today, let's go head to head with my ailments.

Let's do the things that sort of mimics the Duo/Poly Hip and Back for our Max Effort Lower Day

Good Mornings with the SSB Yoke Bar for a Three Rep Max

GHR: 4x10

Suspended Knees to Elbow: 4x10

Then to complete the carnage, 45 degree back extensions with a barbell across the shoulder and pinned at the point of extension so that I could do a hard isometric against the stops at extension.

Then (for no particular reason) I thought it would be smart to Temper my body with the "Ex Wife".

My goodness, I sounded like an Air Pop popcorn maker.

Smashing tissue as it was rolled, I thought.."wow, this is sure dumb".  However, when I stood up, I felt SPECTACULAR (and kind of sexy)
