I like it when I son asks to be woken up in order to go to the gym with me in the early morning.

With Ninja like skill, I sneak into his room and get close to his ear and whisper..."Champions are being made".  Without a hesitation he pops his head off the pillow, rubs the sleepers from his eye and proceeds to the bathroom for a quick wiz and fang scrape,

Then we are OFF!

I have a large crowd at the 0500 start and it isn't easy getting everyone moving in the right direction.  But when my wife and son enter the gym, everyone knows that it's going to be ONE OF THOSE DAYS!

Get ready for Champion caliber efforts.  Because the BEST teachers are those that lead by example.

Everything today was a Super Set with 3 Pull ups and 6 Dips

Front Plank: 4x1 minute

McGill Sit Ups: 3x10 each leg

"Stir the Pots": 3x8 in counter and clockwise directions

American Bar C/S Row: 4x8x185

I then thought it would be a good idea to add 100 reps of the following on the Concept II Cross Country Ski piece. (I just saw it sitting in the corner all lonely and unused):

Ski Poling

Tricep Extension

Criss Crossed Lat/Breast Stroke movement

Bent Elbow High to Low Lat Pulls

All under 10 minutes.

Because I did this by myself, it sucked worse than if two people had to do it.  After all, misery LOVES company.

DB Supine Tri Extension: 4x15/DB Curl: 4x8

BB Curl: 4x8/Skull Crushers: 4x15

Bike Commute: 22 minutes
