Not sure what it was today, but I was NOT on top of my game. Normally, my eyes pop open and I roll out of bed to my knees, thank my God for another glorious day to kick ass, head off to the head, scrape my fangs, breakfast...orderly and systematic. But TODAY...it's as if someone put a hitch in my giddy up.
When I got to the gym and started writing the plan, I was overwhelmed with a sense of needing to be at the beach and just kick back.
As soon as I put the first reps behind me, I was good to go. Luckily!
DB Chest Press: Work up to a HARD 5 rep max
-Then do two additional sets of 5 at that weight
-Drop 10 lbs and do a set of 8 reps
-Drop another 5 lbs and do as many reps as possible. I pushed 22 reps with the 85's
Push ups: 250 reps
BB Overhead Press: 5x5
DB Lateral Raise: 5x10x30
Shrugs: 5x10x445...yes, I broke out the 100 lb. plates
Prowler: 8x40x10 lbs more than last week
Pull up totals=2854
Push Up totals=3331
Dip Totals-4383
Prowler Totals: 13,480 yards
