My very busy life continues. Mind you, my busy life is slow paced compared to many. I'm pretty spoiled and enjoy a leisurely lifestyle. So when I have to do a lot of stuff my anxiety level can get up pretty high. I'm more or less a diva without the burden of a lot of fame.

Buying the new house has me bananas. It's lots of phone calls and meeting with people which are generally two things I don't enjoy. However, all is moving in the right direction. It really is going to be our dream home. It fits every criteria I want in a house without being beyond my budget. It even has hiking trails, a river, and a swimming hole right off my backyard.

In the midst of this Jess and I had the good fortune to attend UFC 205. It was friggin' awesome. The place was packed and the electricity in the arena was palpable. For the big fight Alvarez versus McGregor, I was rooting for Alvarez. I think I was the only one in the entire building. The Irish traveled to support their countryman. Long story short Alvarez got waxed. It wasn't even close. Being the ambassador of good will that I am, I made nice with the Irish as you can see from the pic. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

That's really all I have time for this week. I'm exhausted. I'm even going to pass on posting my numbers. I had my five's week, which was my 8th consecutive week without a deload. I felt like hammered dog pooh, so I finally deloaded last week. Conditioning is simply treadmill work or weight vest walks on off days. Nothing hard or revolutionary. My body feels great and my weight is down. I hit a new low of 222.

That new weight low will not stand for long. I'm a month out from the NOV Meet with Rhodes and Wendler. I'm going to be increasing calories until then. Just more to think about and do during this busy time. No matter though, I always train. I think it's necessary for the body, mind, and soul. I cope much better when I train. I strongly suggest during those busy or stressful times in life you keep training. Sometimes it's the only thing you can really control.
