Monster Garage Gym/Maroscher Coaching Log: By MGG owner, 2-Time WPC World Powerlifting Champion, Eric Maroscher. (Log number XXXIX).
This video log features four different deadlift methods to train your RAW deadlift. Method One in the training video is pulling off of 2” blocks against EliteFTS monster mini bands for working sets of two. Method Two in the training video is RAW straight weight deadlifts for multiple sets of reps. Method Three in the training video is pulling against EliteFTS purple bands for sets of two reps, and finally we wrap it up with Justin who warms up to a max pull of 725LBS RAW, for Method Four which is warming up to a maximum effort deadlift.

The point of this log is to capture on video, especially the intermediate and newer lifter, some training footage on how a team of powerlifters, varying from multi-time world champions, powerlifters currently on in the top 5 in the powerlifting rankings, powerlifters with All Time records as well as lifters with only a few meets under their belt can train and do train to improve their RAW deadlift with these four methods to choose from. Additionally, we have provided footage of lifters with variety in weight classes, height, gender and experience for you to peruse as you engage in this coaching log. Any of these four methods can be injected into a well thought out and planned deadlift program and we encourage you to experiment with any of the four as they each have their own merit and worthiness.

Following deadlift training a variety of ancillary movements are completed and documented in the footage. The ancillary movements are essential movements and during this training session include but are not limited to:
Rever-hyper with EliteFTS mini bands, pull downs, wide grip low rows, rackable cambered bar hamstring work, rack pulls, and shrugs.
