I was reminded earlier today of how I was training when I looked as you see in this throwback picture. NOTE: diet played far more of a role in how I looked than the training did... but the training was brought up as a realistic option of something I “can” do now.⁣

As I’ve gotten older, parts wore out, others needed to be reattached, replaced and some will never work the same again. Throughout the past ten years, I’ve been bombarded with all the things I can’t do anymore. I find these out on my own or have been told by those I trust with my life and are fully aware of my mindset. I have learned there are always those with their different versions of snake oil that promise and swear they can fix everything. I’ve swore off some, tried others with limited success, and flat out fell sucker to others. Because of this...⁣

Since 2004, I have been in a constant and persistent pursuit of those who can help me with my issues and when I find someone better I move on. This has allowed my to add more items to my “can do” list then the items that get pulled off as well as creating a trusted sounding board.⁣

Over the past year I had a big piece of the puzzle I wasn’t able to fill and was reminded today of how to fill it.⁣

There are no secrets here as this has to do with how I can train supplemental movements and will involve cluster and timed sets. I’m non specific because my list of disabilities - I mean, my list of abilities is different than yours. ⁣

When I did compete, I always felt I was only as good as my last lift, or meet. I was reminded this is the same with life. You're only as good as what you did last week and I fully plan on making the next ten years the best I’ve ever had. ⁣
