Last night I had to RIP my team a new one.  No, not the paying customers, but my youth hockey team.

I do the strength and conditioning or "dry-land" as we call it.

I was in the middle of my teaching when a young man found it to be alright to talk over me with his peer.

Those that have played for me in the past know that I am all about proper discipline and if everything is going alright, I don't talk.  You get to have some fun and conversation is fine.  However, if I am talking it means I'm trying to get a point across that I KNOW will make for a better team.  Therefore if YOU are talking over me, then I assume you know more about the subject and perhaps YOU should be lecturing.  If you don't know more than I do, and you continue to speak over me, well...I will request that you remove yourself from my area of operation in quite a quick fashion because I will FUCK YOU UP!

Upon the removal of the youths that thought they knew more than me, I continued with my point...

If you are not a skilled player, or you aren't very good in general, you can make large contributions to a team by increasing your aggressive play.  Go out and HIT someone and establish physical dominance.

If you aren't skilled and you don't put forth more aggression, then you suck and you bring the suckitude of the team up a level or more.

If you are a skilled player AND you add more aggression, well then that's just a bonus and everyone will benefit.

It boils down to the simple instruction I give as my first resource to most issues.  Dry fucking harder!  What you lack in skill can be balanced by more aggressive behavior.
