I love doing conditioning.  No really!  A lot of strength athletes will detest such tomfoolery and replace it with dirty gains.  Some will mock the body type that is produced when training endurance systems.

Not me!

The morning is mine.  I reflect on what I have done and what I need to do.  It is my "Church" time.  I get to talk to my God, and he understands my language through my panting.  It's my anger management pill as well.

It is MY ALONE TIME, and that is why I stopped doing Triathlons, Marathons, 10K's, Century bike rides and endurance open ocean swims.  The swarms of people that are encroaching my space begin to wear on me.

I even take issue with people who they themselves want "alone" time and find them running in my park or on my course.  I view them as "bogies" and feel the impulse to TAKE THEM OUT!

Yesterday I did sprints as the line of traffic started to increase into the East End parking lot.  I had planned to do only 12 x 50 yards but cut it short by two.  Not that the people were anywhere near my end of the field, but the fact that they were there at all had me on high alert.  The sun was barely cresting the tree line, what the fuck were these people doing awake?

Even today, the person I love the MOST was running on one side of me and my pooch on the other.  I felt compelled to increase the distance because, well...It's Sunday and April has a lot going on with her work and social calendar this week.  She even has a "business party" she needs to attend today, so I tied our time together for a good amount of mileage.

MISTAKE!

HUGE!!!

Better to have "Divide and Conquer"

Yes, I became an asshole, and she without caffeine  didn't help.  But...I am NOT wrong.  Just a bit of "damage control" and I'll know better for the next time.

Going forward, the endurance stuff?  Yea, I'll do that spiritually on my own as the spirit FILLS me!

Sunday's are NOT for laying around looking like roadkill in your pajamas and complaining while staring at your phone!

Go!!!  Go right fucking NOW!!!
