DU to Host Strength and Conditioning Summit on May 23

The University of Denver is hosting a Strength and Conditioning Summit on Saturday, May 23rd. The all-day event will take place at the Pat Bowlen Training Center on the DU campus. Click HERE to view a full event brochure.

The conference will feature a variety of strength, fitness and medical professionals who will share training and evaluation methods through lectures and hands-on sessions. Those in attendance will be introduced to new ways in approaching strength and conditioning that will enhance player performance and physical fitness applicable to all sports.

Notable guest lecturers include Casey Bond (Colorado Avalanche Strength and Conditioning Coach), James Hardy (University of Colorado Director of Basketball Strength and Conditioning), Joy Anderson & Matt Shaw (CU Hospital Physical Therapy & University of Denver) and Jonathan Pope (Rogue Performance).

Nick Studholme (Studholme Chiropractic) will give a hands-on session covering "Joint Movement Evaluation & Techniques and Prescription of Applied Mobilization." Kevin Cronin (Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Colorado College) will also perform a hands-on session dealing with "Movement Based Progressions."

The conference is open to all athletic coaches at the Junior High, Club, High School and College levels. Strength Coaches, Athletic Trainers, Physical Therapists, Personal Trainers and Fitness Professionals are also welcome to attend.
