Following the July completion of his lifelong goal of winning a pro card in bodybuilding, John Meadows has strung together an impressive bout of competition results, placing in multiple pro shows along the way. He has kept a detailed account of his physique and journey throughout his Facebook page. It first started with a picture 12 days out from the show that earned him a pro card:

Following the initial placing for his pro card, Meadows went on to the Vancouver Pro/Am to take fifth place in the 212 class. Here he is nine days prior that competition, his first as an IFBB Pro:

After that particular show, John had a bit of fun with Flex Lewis, Fouad Abiad, and Shaun Claurida during a limo ride to Denny's.

He then went on to the IFBB 2015 Tampa Pro, where he spent time in the sauna to make weight and ultimately prevailed, finishing in third place behind only Alejandro Cambronero and Al Auguste.

John is at it again this weekend, competing in San Antonio at the 2015 IFBB Wings of Strength Texas Pro 212. This will mark his third show as an IFBB Pro, capping off an impressive four-show run that began when he won his Pro Card at Team Universe at the beginning of July.

John posted about the upcoming competition on his Facebook page last night, sharing with his followers that the past year has been one of the best of his life:

John's recent competition results have granted him four points toward qualification for the Mr. Olympia 212 Showdown. A top two or three result this weekend, pending a contingency of other factors, could give him the chance to qualify for the Olympia. The Mr. Olympia website has the rankings listed, but have not been updated to reflect current standings.

John's results from 2015 IFBB Wings of Strength Texas Pro will be shared here on the elitefts news page.
