Held every two years, this summer over 6,500 athletes will compete in the following sports: aquatics, athletics, badminton, basketball, beach volleyball, bocce, bowling, cycling, equestrian, soccer, golf, gymnastics, half marathon, handball, judo, kayaking, open water swimming, roller skating, sailing, softball, table tennis, tennis, triathalon, volleyball, and powerlifting.
Spotlighting powerlifter Amanda Cayton, we wish her a strong meet as she represents USA (Benton Central High School in Oxford, Indiana). This is her first time attending the world games and her first time flying on an airplane. Good luck Amanda!
