I'm currently in the early stages of preparing for 2016 USS Strongman Nationals which will be held on June 11th, 2016. My training focus is to continue to get stronger overall, continue adding some size and start working in strongman events again. I'm working with teammate Mike Mastell on my programming.
I felt like crap today. Mentally I just wasn't in it. Even during my top set of clean and press for reps my mind was wondering. I remember having time to think about something, then wonder why the hell I couldn't get focused. When I'm able to think during a set I know I'm not in it. Regardless I hit an ok number and put the work in. Not all days are sunshine and rainbows.
