I'm currently preparing for the 2016 USS Strongman Nationals which will be held on June 11th, 2016. My training focus is to continue to get stronger and prepare and peak for the events at Nationals. I'm working with teammate Mike Mastell on my nutrition and programming.

Well my nutrition was off today and I felt the effects. I think tore something in my left forearm on Sunday doing stones. I remember doing it on my second set, but didn't think much of it. It didn't hurt too bad on my last set. On my drive home and the next few days it was pretty uncomfortable. Then it bruised up pretty bad and still is. I pushed my days back this week to allow it to heal some.

On my top set I felt my forearm on my 3rd one motion rep. I decided to not one motion my 4th. I could still feel it and ended up stopping my set at 8 reps. I'm a little disappointed as I wanted 10, but with my forearm on the top of my mind I decided to shut it down. I finished the session and got the work in. I was pretty pissed off though.
