Deadlift day was hype, we had a massive crew (I believe roughly nine) team members all showed up. We had three bars running with everyone taking their attempts and everyone got in their teammates ears on their last set. Our intern hit a five lb PR on his top set with ease so that was fun to watch. The majority of my warm up sets felt off cause I ditched the straps. By my first set of three I threw them on quick cause my hands were feeling awful. My last set of three prior t my single looked something like:

The lift looked mechanically decent but it felt terrible, I did a poor job at setting my upper back which is how I miss deadlifts and not really acceptable this fa out from meet. I decided to throw my headphones on prior to my final pull, lose the straps again, and have my teammate who I compete against talk some shit to me and got my head right. Understand these numbers are roughly in my 85% range so they should not be too taxing.
