I'm currently preparing for the 2016 USS Strongman Nationals which will be held on June 11th, 2016. My training focus is to continue to get stronger and prepare and peak for the events at Nationals. I'm working with teammate Mike Mastell on my nutrition and programming.

Today was rough. I sit here just a couple hours post training typing these and my legs are dead and ache. My whole body aches. Today literally kicked my ass. It was a great training session though. I got to train with friend and fellow strongman competitor, Shane Solomon.  He actually introduced me to the sport. We both had good training days and events are much better training with someone.

The Conan's wheel felt great. However we did have to do them in the rain and there's a big water puddle you have to walk through. Good thing I brought a change of socks and shoes. The farmers felt good on some runs and ok on others. I was pretty taxed from the Conan's and I really think they're still fatigued from front squats and deads earlier this week. Stones on the other hand felt awesome. No complaints on today's training. Officially 6 weeks out.
