I'm currently preparing for the 2016 USS Strongman Nationals which will be held on June 11th, 2016. My training focus is to continue to get stronger and prepare and peak for the events at Nationals. I'm working with teammate Mike Mastell on my nutrition and programming.

I was really happy with how this day went. Everything moved fast and felt strong. It was a pretty taxing training session, but it was fun. The deadlifts were really rough with only 45s rest, but they were over fast.

On the nutrition side of things I've been very consistent for the past 8 weeks or so and hitting my macros daily. I've also dropped some body fat, feel better and recovery is good. My diet is typically not bad, but when I'm getting ready for a contest I really tighten things up. I do plan to keep things a bit more precise calorie and macro wise in my next off-season though.
