I'm currently preparing for the 2016 USS Strongman Nationals which will be held on June 11th, 2016. My training focus is to continue to get stronger and prepare and peak for the events at Nationals. I'm working with teammate Mike Mastell on my nutrition and programming.

Even though this is one of my best events, I'm really starting to dread the log clean & press. There's no way around it, clean and press for reps sucks. The thing is, even though I dread it I know that if I want to be at my best on June 11 I've got to put in the work. I also refuse to be outworked. So I suck it up and do work.

I should note that my conditioning has improved and the event doesn't kick my butt quite like it did a few weeks back. That does not make me like it any more though.

The only thing I feel my shoulder on at the moment is any pressing off the chest. The thing is it's not really painful. I just feel it. It feels like something is tight somewhere and something is getting pulled on. I have no pain after pressing nor any other time. Only the feeling when I'm doing the movement. I'm pretty confident I'm doing no harm so I'll continue to do what I'm doing.
