I'm grateful I hit a 10# PR, but in all honesty it was shit. I wasn't loading my hips properly. Instead of fighting pressure I was caving in the hole. The good- I can feel where I'm losing it. And my squat is better than it's ever been. The bad- dress rehearsal is over. Time to put up or shut up.

On a bad day, like today, I'm good for 815. On a good day, 830-850. I was talking with Dave last weekend, and I don't remember who he was quoting, but he said once you step on the platform there's about 20 seconds worth of work. "All you have to do is don't fuck up for 20 seconds."
