I typically don't do this, but given how my last deadlift session went, I wanted to grab the bar one last time for some speed work.
The good: I can pull about the same conventional as I can sumo.
The bad: I can pull about the same conventional as I can sumo.
Dave had me laughing after I told him I'd be out to train with him to fix my deadlift after this meet- "well the good part is you can pull conventional if your hips are shot after your squat." What it boils down to- I need to be better to reach my goals. Not "stronger." We always want to be stronger. I need to be better meaning in my approach to deadlifting. Tweaking technique. Engraining new technique. I've accomplished that with my bench first. I just learned how to squat this training cycle. Next is deadlift. Then I'll do the whole "let's get better at all three at once."
