I'm currently preparing for the 2016 USS Strongman Nationals which will be held on June 11th, 2016. My training focus is to continue to get stronger and prepare and peak for the events at Nationals. I'm working with teammate Mike Mastell on my nutrition and programming.

This session felt great. Everything felt strong and fast. This is the heaviest I've gone on deadlifts in a while, and quite a bit of volume at this weight for me. The first set felt fast and solid. The last set, while a bit slower, still moved smoothly and felt good. The front squats felt like usual. I just love front squats for some reason. I will say the 3 sets of 12 on back squats wasn't pleasant, but could've been worse. All in all this was a great day in the gym
