I'm currently preparing for the 2016 USS Strongman Nationals which will be held on June 11th, 2016. My training focus is to continue to get stronger and prepare and peak for the events at Nationals. I'm working with teammate Mike Mastell on my nutrition and programming.

The log felt like crap today. My legs were dead and I had no explosiveness on my one-motion reps. I still hit a decent number in a minute. It is nice to know on a crappy day I can still hit a decent number, but that's not good enough. I have no doubt I was still fatigued from the lower body session two days before. My legs and hips were shot after that session.

I still put in some solid work and the shoulder is feeling pretty good. I was able to push the floor press a bit more today without pain, so that was good.
