Happy Mother's Day to all the Mother's out there. Today I hit the iron hard in honour of my Mom who I miss so terribly much. Time does not heal as I find out every year on Mother's day.

Being weak is not an option for me and it seems I need a goal to keep accountable. It's easy to stray off your training when life gets in the way. My off season training has been going well.

Today I wanted to try some squats and see how my knee felt as it has been feeling great lately. I have a full power meet in mind and needed a test run so to speak.

BELT SQUATS

180 lbs x 10/10/10

SQUATS

65 LBS X 10

126 LBS X 3

166 LBS X 3

216 LBS X 3

246 LBS X 3

286 LBS X 2 (Felt pretty good a bit heavy but as I haven't squatted since Dec I will take it with no pain)

TSUNAMI LAT PULLDOWNS (I am addicted to this exercise also)

95 LBS X 10/10/10/15

GHR BACK RAISES WITH KETTLEBELL

10/10/10/10

DEADLIFTS

256 LBS X 3

296 LBS X 2

346 LBS X 2

396 LBS X 1/1

Everything felt solid today I'm excited again to be squatting and to know I have maintained my strength.

You may see me back on the platform yet this year, stay tuned!
