This April, I competed at CPU Nationals, placing second in the 63kg open category with an 825 lb total, just one pound behind first place.
With the guidance of Steve Goggins, I am in pursuit of greatness, both on and off the platform.

Training is really light this week since I will be jetting off to Georgia on Saturday to train with Steve Goggins for three days. I am really looking forward to spending time with Steve for a few main reasons

  1. Training 1on1 in person is far more effective than training online. Better feedback, better coaching, better lifts.
  2. Talking training, programming, etc with one of the bests in the biz.
  3. Being reminded of the big picture. I let myself get caught up in what other people think/say of me far too often and let it bother me. These people don't matter, the people who care about me matter.
  4. PRs, PRs, and more PRs

I have been training very light, working up to 150 for 5x5 on bench and 185 for 5x5 on squat. Easy peasy!
