Today I officially started to "peak" for the Arnold. Swede has me start peaking 44 days out from the meet, which was a new concept to me originally but being under his watchful eye for a couple years I know first hand it works.

We start out with bench and will follow with squats, WGBP ( wide grip bench press) and finish each meso with deadlifts. Today I had a top set of 485 with my bench being all over the place lately I wasn't sure what to expect.

WARM-UPS

I've put on about 15 lbs in a week,  I was already sweating like a hog, so warm-ups didn't require a significant amount of volume.

135 x 10 I did this twice

225 x 5 did this twice

315 x 3

365 x 3

405 x 1

445 x 1

485 x 1 which was my work set- and it felt pretty snappy. overall I was rather impressed with how the session went, maybe there's hope for my bench after all.

ACCESSORY

Side raises two progressive sets of 10 with 40lbs. Focusing on slowing down the negative portion of the lift.

Rear delt raises for two consecutive sets of 12. For these, I used 25lbs.

MOOD- Running a little hot

ENERGY- Trenergy is pretty good for now, I'll take it

FEELING- Feeling pretty normal as far as anxious and getting ready to go through the ringer, I'd be a liar if I said I don't get nervous. Luckily for me, I've learned to use it to my advantage.

SOUNDTRACK Hells bells AC/DC - Thanks Sheena
