Life was happening the last two months and I was extremely sick taking off from training. Family came into town in the middle of it and our family's got to meet for the first time. We figured it would be super awkward if that day was our wedding day. Everything was last minute and totally unexpected.

Now that I'm fully recovered, I'm happy to be up and moving again. During the two month period, I noticed how much more time I had because I wasn't training. It was freaking me out and I realized, "if I didn't have a passion to train, what the hell would I be doing?" A bit dramatic but it gave me a sense of appreciation that I ENJOY spending my time at the gym and connecting with fellow lifters. It's a passion and some don't have that. And if you're reading this, browsing through the website of elitefts, there's a chance you're pretty passionate about lifting too. How fortunate are we?

With about a month left until game day, I knew I had to reel in my goals and let reality set in. I have a lot of catching up to do and I have to make the most of it.
